Insurance

I accept private payment only.

I can provide you with a receipt which you may submit to your insurance company for possible, partial reimbursement. This is dependent solely on the particulars of your insurance plan. Please contact your insurance company for more information on your out-of-network benefits.

Please note that all insurance carriers demand a mental health diagnosis for psychotherapeutic services.

Payment

I accept cash, Venmo, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Many clients find that they can use their HSA or FSA card to pay for their sessions (please clarify your eligibility with your insurance company).

Payment is due at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy

I require at least 24 hours advance notice of cancellation. Otherwise, you will be billed for this time in full.

Sliding Scale

We do offer a limited number of clients on a sliding scale, depending on what a patient can afford according to their income after other expenses are taken into account. Contact me to inquire.

Good Faith Estimate for Uninsured Clients

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
